Flies
There are several types of flies to match whatever it is the fish are feeding on. The term "Fly" is a generic term meaning a lure that is used to catch fish with a fly rod. It does not have to look like a fly, or even any sort of bug for that matter. What the fly looks like is determined by what the fish is feeding on. If you are trout fishing and there are stone flies in the area, you will want to use a fly that mimicks the size, shape and color of that particular bug. If you are fly fishing for Dorado in the ocean, you will want to use a fly that mimicks the fish they feed on.
